Who our ancestors were.
We are of their blood,
flesh,
spirit.

They could have been loving,
generous,
alcoholic,
distant.

Look in the mirror.
Do you see the real you?
You are an ancestor.
Is your life today
The best memory?

On a future Samhain
will someone be sad?
Will you be missed?
Are you an ancestor 
you want in your life?
