Global Goddess Oracle

Volume Four

Spring Equinox Edition

When to cycles of Time moved forward, toward a time when our Mother, the Sun took the day and separated the day so that dark and light were equal.

In the darkness of the night, Her Womb labored while her Elder Children, The Elements, stood by to guard and protect Her in Her time of birthing. When it was time, She arose and skipped into the morning sky, behind her scattering stars and bringing forth all her children, shining in wetness from their birth waters and warmed by Her light.

As if on cue, creation arose from all places, bubbling up in newness. Birds and animals, flowers and trees were all budding, leafing and reaching for the Sun and Her warmth. Eggs were hatching and young lambs were coming forth to greet the newness of life. And in the valleys the bees were swarming, climbing ever higher to greet this young new Queen of Spring.

When the light of day burst forth, The Goddess, in all her radiant beauty, stepped forth and danced upon the Earth and shared that She was to be called Ostara.

She spoke to all who would hear Her - Dance the joy in your hearts, rejoice in My birthing. Embrace all that is within you, which is of Me, bursting to come forth. Prepare to join Me in the Sacred Dance!
